Qualified Diesel Mechanic

A well-established company is seeking a skilled and dedicated Qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their dynamic team in Kathu.

Requirements

• Recognized Diesel Mechanic Trade Test Certificate / Red Seal
• 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience
• Strong and proven hydraulics experience is essential
• Valid driver’s licence
• Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair various diesel-powered equipment
• Accurately diagnose and repair complex mechanical and hydraulic faults
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance and thorough equipment inspections
• Identify operational problems and perform prompt, effective repairs
• Ensure all work is completed safely and adheres to the highest quality standards
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and service reports
