Mineral Process Engineer

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering (B.Eng / BSc. Eng)
• 5 to 7 years of relevant industry experience
• Strong background in mineral processing treatment plant design
• Proven technical writing skills for developing essential documentation, including Basis of Design (BoDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), process descriptions, and control specifications

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform equipment sizing calculations and selections
• Develop accurate process mass balances
• Design state-of-the-art mineral processing plants
• Conduct equipment testing and thorough inspections
• Manage plant commissioning processes
• Perform on-site plant audits
• Execute on-site troubleshooting and process optimization
• Engage effectively with clients and vendors
• Provide comprehensive training to plant operators during commissioning
