Qualified Fitter

A well-established company is seeking a skilled and dedicated Qualified Fitter or Turner to join their dynamic workshop team in Kathu.

Requirements

• Recognized Trade Test Certificate (Fitter or Turner / Red Seal)
• 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience
• Strong, demonstrated experience in hydraulics (essential)
• Valid driver’s license
• Exceptional technical and mechanical skills
• Proven ability to accurately diagnose faults and perform effective repairs
• Ability to work seamlessly both independently and as part of a collaborative team

Key Responsibilities

• Perform precision fitting, turning, maintenance, and repair work
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and hydraulic faults
• Conduct regular inspections and carry out preventative maintenance
• Service, repair, and maintain heavy machinery and equipment
• Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and to the highest quality standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workshop environment
