FMCG Sales Representative

Position Overview

Salary: R30,000 CTC per month, plus a petrol card and a performance-based commission (own vehicle required)

Coverage Areas

Travelling will primarily involve day trips, with approximately one overnight stay per week. The designated territory includes Bloemfontein, Kimberley, the Northern Cape, and surrounding areas extending as far as Olifantshoek.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous FMCG sales and account management experience is essential
• Strong working knowledge of retail environments
• Proven ability to manage targets, budgets, and customer accounts
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Highly sales-driven and target-oriented mindset
• Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Northern Cape
• Flexibility to stay overnight approximately once per week
• Must possess existing medical aid coverage or be willing to obtain it

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage key retail accounts and consistently achieve monthly sales targets
• Monitor and control customer stock levels
• Capture and process orders for timely delivery
• Negotiate pricing and secure bulk sales opportunities
• Identify and secure new product listings and expanded sales opportunities
• Build and maintain strong, lasting customer relationships
• Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly sales reports
• Active participation in sales, strategy, and team meetings
• Assist with customer relationship activities and team-building initiatives
• Collaborate closely with Business Developers to support their professional growth
