Human Resources Executive

As a core member of the Executive Committee, the HR Executive plays a pivotal role in aligning our human capital strategy with broader corporate goals to drive business success.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, Business Management, or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualification (Honours or Master's) is advantageous.
• Registration with SABPP is highly advantageous.
• 10 to 15 years of progressive HR experience.
• Minimum of 5 years in an executive or senior HR leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience leading HR within a national wholesale, retail, distribution, or FMCG business.

Technical Competencies and Experience

• Align HR Strategy: Execute holistic human capital strategies mapped directly to corporate objectives.
• Integrate Culture: Institutionalise core corporate values and Brand DNA across all business tiers.
• Develop Leadership: Champion acceleration initiatives, including the Branch Manager Excellence Programme.
• Build Succession: Secure a sustainable leadership pipeline to future-proof organisational capability.
• Optimise Performance: Continuously drive organisational effectiveness, agility, and workflow efficiency.
• Manage Recruitment: Direct end-to-end talent acquisition strategies across all organisational levels.
• Lead HR Team: Cultivate a high-performing HR department and optimise its operating model.
• Oversee Employee Relations: Direct all industrial relations and ensure full legal and equity compliance.
• Foster Learning: Drive a continuous-learning culture focused on enhancing workforce capability.
• Audit Workflows: Evaluate branch roles, responsibilities, and administration to boost overall operational effectiveness.
