FMCG Area Manager

Compensation

The basic salary is competitive and will depend on your level of experience. This package also includes a company vehicle and fuel.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a team leader or management role within the packaging or a related industry
• Strong understanding of sales, customer relationship management, and team performance metrics
• Experience managing and developing a sales or customer-facing team is highly advantageous
• A natural coaching and mentoring mindset
• Willingness to undertake occasional overnight stays as required

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage the assigned region and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders
• Communicate vital client feedback, costing updates, competitor insights, and sales strategies
• Monitor credit notes, profit and loss statements, and identify strategic opportunities to recover lost business
• Lead, supervise, and motivate Customer Care Consultants to consistently achieve monthly targets and KPIs
• Ensure adherence to call cycles and maintain seamless communication with clients, store owners, and internal departments
• Coach, develop, and onboard new team members to maximize their performance and potential
• Conduct weekly KPI reviews and participate in joint client and store visits
• Maintain a consistent 6 to 8-week call cycle with VIP clients and key stakeholders
• Resolve team and customer disputes swiftly and professionally
• Encourage teamwork, personal accountability, and a high-performance culture
• Report operational changes, market challenges, and resource requirements to the Regional Sales Manager
• Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
