Senior .Net Engineer

Salary: R1.6m – R1.8m
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates must reside in South Africa)

We are recruiting for an established international wealth management business headquartered in London, looking to hire a Senior .NET Engineer to work remotely from South Africa. What makes this position unique is the breadth and scope of the work.

• Designing and building secure, scalable backend services
• Working with C# and .NET 6+ at a genuinely senior level
• Designing REST APIs, microservices, and asynchronous systems
• Participating in core architecture and high-level technical decision-making
• Working extensively within the Azure cloud ecosystem
• Owning, maintaining, and improving CI/CD pipelines
• Working with Kubernetes and container orchestration
• Contributing to infrastructure-as-code and automated deployments
• Influencing engineering standards, code quality, and development best practices
• Following systems all the way from concept through architecture, build, deployment, and production

Requirements

• Approximately 8+ years of software development experience
• Particularly strong C# and .NET backend capabilities
• Solid, hands-on Azure experience
• Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes
• Familiarity with RabbitMQ, SQL Server, security engineering, or financial services is advantageous but not mandatory
