Senior C# Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior C# Software Developer with strong expertise across desktop, web, and mobile application development. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining legacy C# Windows Forms products while driving the development of modern applications using .NET, ASP.NET Core, Blazor, and .NET MAUI.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging Entity Framework, Microsoft SQL Server, SQLite, and RESTful services to deliver robust, scalable software solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Science, or a related technical discipline.

Minimum Experience Required

• Minimum of 10 years of professional software development experience in C#.
• Substantial expertise in Windows Forms, modern .NET application development, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, Entity Framework, and RESTful services.
• Background in engineering software will be considered a distinct advantage.

Key Competencies and Technical Skills

• Full-stack C# development experience across web and mobile applications.
• Frameworks: .NET Core (8 or later).
• Technologies: ASP.NET Core, Blazor, .NET MAUI, and Blazor Hybrid.
• Web Services & Data: RESTful web services, Entity Framework, Entity Framework Core, LINQ, Microsoft SQL Server, and SQLite.
• Strong database design experience utilizing Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and SQLite.
• Experience developing offline-capable applications, encompassing local persistence, data synchronization, and error recovery.
• Expertise in integrating RESTful services and working with JSON-based data exchange.
• Deep understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency, cancellation, and responsive user-interface design.
• Ability to design responsive and accessible interfaces using Razor components, HTML, and CSS.
• Proficiency in diagnosing application performance, logging, data access, and cross-platform issues.
• Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, including object-oriented design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Comprehensive knowledge of professional software engineering practices across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, Git-based source control, build processes, and testing.
• Strong communication skills to propose software improvements and new features using clear technical documentation, flow charts, and presentations.
