Golang Developer

Our client is seeking skilled Golang Developers to join their Johannesburg team in a fully office-based environment. Opportunities are available for both Intermediate and Senior Developers who are passionate about building scalable, high-performance applications using modern cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using Golang
• Build reliable, scalable, and secure backend services
• Develop and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines
• Work with Kubernetes to deploy and manage containerised applications
• Build event-driven solutions using Kafka
• Develop workflow orchestration solutions using Temporal
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Proven commercial experience developing applications with Golang
• Demonstrated experience with CI/CD practices and tools
• Strong Kubernetes knowledge and container management experience
• Hands-on experience working with Apache Kafka
• Exposure to Temporal workflows is highly advantageous
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Financial services or fintech experience will be considered a strong advantage
