SAP HCM Solution Architect

About the Role

We are looking for an SAP HCM Solution Architect to help shape the future of Human Capital technology within an enterprise environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end solution architecture of the organisation's Human Capital technology landscape, ensuring that SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP BTP and related integrations are strategically aligned, secure, scalable and fit for purpose.

This role sits at the intersection of business strategy, HR process design and enterprise technology architecture, translating complex business requirements into robust and sustainable SAP Human Capital solutions while adhering to enterprise architecture standards and governance frameworks.

The position also offers an opportunity for an experienced SAP HCM professional to grow into a broader Solution Architecture role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain end-to-end solution architectures across the SAP HCM landscape.
• Ensure alignment between SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP BTP and associated integrations.
• Translate business and HR requirements into scalable and sustainable technology solutions.
• Provide architectural guidance across HR technology initiatives and projects.
• Evaluate solution designs, integrations and technology choices against enterprise architecture standards.
• Work with stakeholders across HR, technology and business teams to understand requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
• Ensure solutions meet security, scalability, integration and governance requirements.
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution and modernisation of the organisation's Human Capital technology landscape.
• Collaborate with technical teams, vendors and business stakeholders throughout the solution lifecycle.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors / SAP HCM functional experience.
• Experience with SAP SuccessFactors modules such as:

  • Performance & Goals
  • Recruiting
  • Onboarding
  • Succession & Development
  • Compensation
  • Learning
  • Employee Central Payroll
  • Time Off
• Strong knowledge of SAP HCM modules including PA, OM, Time and Payroll.
• Experience with SAP BTP, CPI, Integration Suite, APIs and enterprise integrations.
• Experience integrating SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA and/or related enterprise systems.
• Understanding of SAP architecture, solution design, configuration, testing and data governance.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Interest in developing further into a Solution Architecture position.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of SAP Fiori / UI5.
• Understanding of ABAP.
• Experience with ITIL v4.
• Experience with project and programme management methodologies.
• Knowledge of TOGAF or enterprise architecture frameworks.
• Exposure to AI, Generative AI or Agentic AI technologies.
