Our client is seeking an ambitious and skilled Software Developer to join their dynamic team in Centurion.

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Vue.js, Laravel, PHP, SQL, Python, HTML, and AI development tools to build exceptional digital solutions. You will bring a solid understanding of the full software development stack—spanning frontend, middleware, backend, and API integration—while driving rigorous testing and debugging to ensure optimal application performance and quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable web applications using Vue.js for the frontend and Laravel for the backend.
• Write clean, well-documented code in PHP and HTML, supported by a strong foundation in SQL databases.
• Develop and maintain robust APIs and integrate third-party services seamlessly.
• Work across the entire development stack, encompassing frontend, middleware, and backend architecture.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, QA testers, and project managers.
• Conduct comprehensive testing (unit, integration, and functional) to guarantee software reliability.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and performance bottlenecks proactively.
• Participate in code reviews to contribute to the continuous improvement of coding standards and processes.
• Stay ahead of the curve by exploring emerging technologies and industry best practices in software development.

Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Vue.js, Laravel, PHP, SQL, and HTML.
• In-depth understanding of frontend, middleware, and backend architecture.
• Proven experience in building, integrating, and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, testable, and efficient code.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile methodologies.
• Working knowledge of web security best practices.
• Experience utilizing tools such as Docker and Postman.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
