Senior Business Analyst

Rate: R600 – R750 per hour
Duration: 12-month contract
Location: Cape Town (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a high-visibility integration programme at a well-established organisation in Cape Town. Operating within our Technology and Innovation function, this role offers an exciting opportunity to shape critical business transformations.

The Role

You will lead BA delivery across a complex M365 integration and broader migration initiative, collaborating with multiple regions and diverse stakeholder groups. This is a true ownership position where you will drive end-to-end requirements definition, conduct current-state and target-state process gap assessments, and act as the vital link between business, technology, and delivery teams.

This position maintains a strong focus on governance throughout the project lifecycle, encompassing data reconciliation, controls verification, UAT, and strict alignment with GDPR and internal audit frameworks.

What You Will Be Doing

• Lead requirements definition and documentation across business and technical workstreams.
• Facilitate interactive workshops with stakeholders spanning business, risk, and technology functions.
• Translate complex compliance and security requirements into clear functional and technical specifications.
• Support UAT execution and controls verification aligned with internal audit frameworks.
• Perform meticulous data reconciliation across systems to verify the accuracy and integrity of migrated data.
• Assess data and process risks against established governance and control frameworks.

What You Need

• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience on technology-led change programmes.
• Demonstrated expertise in system integrations and complex business migrations.
• A solid understanding of governance, risk, and control frameworks.
• Exposure to IAM governance (AD, Azure AD, SSO, MFA) is highly advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across all seniority levels and geographic regions.
• The ability to work autonomously and thrive on a high-profile programme.
• CBAP or CCBA certification is advantageous.
