SAP Data Volume Management Administrator

Are you an experienced SAP professional with a passion for data archiving, database optimization, and SAP operations? We are looking for a skilled SAP Data Volume Management Administrator to join our dynamic team in Stellenbosch.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant SAP experience
• Experience with SAP ERP, SAP BW, and SAP CAR
• SAP Certification or 3 to 5 years of SAP Retail Support / SAP ERP experience
• Strong understanding of SAP archiving, data management, and system integration
• Proven experience managing end-to-end archiving implementations
• Familiarity with the SAP Archive Development Kit (ADK)
• Expertise in database growth analysis and performance monitoring
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate strategic data archiving initiatives
• Monitor and execute archive jobs and scheduled runs
• Analyze database and table growth to optimize system performance
• Support business and technical teams in developing effective archiving strategies
• Conduct thorough migration and upgrade testing
• Assist users with archive document retrieval and provide comprehensive training
• Ensure compliance with internal business policies and legal requirements
