Warehouse Operator

Safely and efficiently manage warehouse stock and daily operations to ensure optimal supply chain performance.

Required Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, or manufacturing environment (advantageous)
• Valid reach truck operator license or relevant certification
• Must remain medically fit and authorized to operate material-handling equipment as required

Technical Competencies & Experience

• Receive, inspect, verify, label, and safely store incoming stock in designated warehouse locations
• Pick and issue stock according to production, dispatch, or transfer requirements, strictly applying FIFO/FEFO principles
• Conduct regular cycle counts and stock takes, maintain accurate inventory records, and assist in reporting and resolving variances
• Safely operate reach trucks and authorized material-handling equipment, including conducting pre-use inspections to ensure secure stock movement
• Protect stock from damage, contamination, or loss, report non-conforming items, and strictly comply with all warehouse, health, safety, and audit standards
