Branch Administrator

Are you a highly organized administrator with strong Sage and Microsoft Excel skills? We are looking for an experienced Branch Administrator with at least 5 years of experience to support the day-to-day operations of our Cape Town branch. As the Branch Administrator, you will be the administrative heartbeat of our team, supporting management and staff with financial administration, reporting, and office coordination. Your Sage and Excel expertise will be key in keeping records accurate, invoices flowing, and reports delivered on time.

Salary

R 25,000 – R 35,000 per month

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 (essential)
• A relevant tertiary qualification in Administration, Finance, or Bookkeeping (advantageous)
• Strong financial acumen and practical skills
• 5 years of experience in a branch administration, office administration, or finance role
• Proven working experience with Sage and strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs are advantageous)

Responsibilities

• Branch Administration: Oversee two junior clerks, manage day-to-day office and finance administration, coordinate with head office, suppliers, and service providers, maintain stock and asset registers, support HR administrative functions (timesheets, leave records, and staff documentation), and assist with general ad-hoc duties to keep the branch running smoothly.
• Financial & Sage Administration: Process invoices, credit notes, and purchase orders on Sage; capture and reconcile supplier and customer accounts; assist with debtors and creditors functions; follow up on outstanding payments; and support month-end processes and financial reporting.
• Reporting & Excel-Based Tasks: Utilize advanced Excel skills to generate accurate reports, analyze operational data, and assist management with financial tracking.
