Business Analyst

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join their dynamic team.

In this pivotal role, you will facilitate the seamless integration of new clients into our systems by understanding data flows, documentation, processes, and technical intricacies. Your primary responsibilities will include managing integration administration, collaborating closely with the tech team, conducting client interviews to analyze workflows, and translating client requirements into actionable instructions for developers. This hands-on position requires technical mapping and direct engagement to ensure smooth onboarding. As the role evolves, you will transition into a leadership capacity, overseeing detailed requirements translation and potentially taking on managerial duties.

Key Responsibilities

Product Vision and Strategy

• Assist in integrating new clients by deeply understanding their data flows, documents, and business processes.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to drive product innovation and differentiation.

Product Implementation

• Act as the primary liaison between clients and the tech team, accurately translating client requirements for developers.
• Conduct workshops with clients to gather insights and understand their operational workflows.
• Create and maintain a well-structured product backlog aligned with the overall product roadmap.
• Manage administrative tasks related to client integration, ensuring attention to every detail.
• Provide hands-on guidance to clients during the onboarding process, assisting with integration, mapping, and issue resolution.
• Assist developers with schema guidance and document translation as needed.
• Deliver engaging technical product demonstrations and presentations to clients.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with software engineers, quality assurance teams, and stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality product releases.
• Provide guidance and support to development teams, ensuring a clear understanding of the product vision and requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to define and prioritize product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Product Performance and Improvement

• Track and analyze key product metrics, user feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities for optimization.
• Proactively gather insights from customers, sales, and support teams to identify valuable new features and enhancements.
• Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and implement product enhancements based on customer feedback and market needs.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in BCom, Law, Business Analysis, System Analysis, or Industrial Engineering.

• Strong business background with the ability to engage effectively with executive-level clients.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and simplify them for various audiences.
• Sales-oriented mindset backed by a strong mathematical aptitude.
• Previous experience in technology or business analysis roles (or relevant coursework) is preferred, though not mandatory.
• High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with e-invoicing products is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills, bridging the gap successfully between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
