IT Systems Administrator

A well-established company is seeking an experienced IT Systems Administrator to join their dynamic team based in Ficksburg, supporting operations across the Free State and Lesotho.

Requirements

• National Senior Certificate (NQF 4 or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including 3 years specifically as a Systems Administrator
• MCSA and CCNA certifications
• VMware and Veeam certifications
• Strong, hands-on experience with servers, virtualization, backups, and networking
• Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and optimise servers, storage, and network infrastructure
• Manage firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs, and cloud resources
• Perform system updates, patch management, and advanced troubleshooting
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes
• Implement cybersecurity controls and proactively respond to security incidents
• Manage user accounts, access control, and the employee onboarding and offboarding processes
