Lead IT Auditor

We are partnering with a leading organization in the financial services sector to find a skilled Lead IT Auditor to join their internal audit team. As their technology and data landscape expands, so does the need for robust governance and insightful auditing.

The Role

You will play a critical role in independently planning and executing IT internal audits, identifying risks across cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and SDLC environments. You'll translate technical complexities into practical, actionable recommendations for key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute full-lifecycle IT audits with minimal supervision
• Identify and assess risks in dynamic technology and data environments
• Engage effectively with technical stakeholders to drive positive audit outcomes
• Monitor and track audit remediation actions through to completion
• Stay ahead of emerging technology risks including cloud computing, AI, and cybersecurity

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of dedicated experience in IT internal audit
• Technical Expertise: Strong exposure to cybersecurity, complex SDLC, cloud environments, and data analytics
• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Certifications: CISA is highly preferred; CISSP, OSCP, or CEH are advantageous
• Skills: Exceptional communication, strong project management, and a self-directed work ethic
