Senior OpenShift Platform Engineer | LSD Open

Join LSD Open as a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and operationalise enterprise OpenShift platforms across hybrid, on-premise, and cloud environments throughout the Middle East and globally.

What You'll Do

• Engineer & Operationalise: Design, deploy, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift-focused LSD Managed Kubernetes (MKS) environments for enterprise client architectures.
• Automate Everything: Drive mature DevSecOps practices using Ansible and Linux automation to streamline OpenShift platform delivery, configuration, and scaling.
• Escalation & Leadership: Act as the senior escalation point for LSD Open support teams and pioneer continuous OpenShift delivery standards.
• Commercial Alignment: Partner with sales teams to ensure client technical solutions map directly to commercial arrangements.
• Global Impact: Engage in hands-on project delivery requiring occasional travel across the Middle East and internationally.

Requirements

• Red Hat Certifications: Active Red Hat certifications, including:
  • EX467: Red Hat Certified Specialist in Managing Automation with Ansible Automation Platform
  • EX380: Red Hat Certified Advanced System Administrator in OpenShift
  • EX316: Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Virtualisation
  • EX280: Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator
  • EX294: Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
• OpenShift Expertise: 4+ years of dedicated, hands-on experience designing, building, and managing Red Hat OpenShift infrastructure (including OpenShift Virtualisation).
• Ansible Mastery: Deep expertise in Ansible and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform for enterprise environment provisioning and configuration.
• Linux Deep-Dive: Advanced Linux system administration skills with a heavy focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• DevSecOps Tooling: Proficiency in GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, Flux), CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, GitHub Actions, Jenkins), and observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic).
