Social Media Graphic Designer

This is a full-time, office-based role for an experienced Social Media Graphic Designer with a strong background in graphic design and hands-on expertise in filming, video editing, and social media content creation. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating dynamic, engaging, and on-trend content tailored for platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.

Salary: R20,000 – R25,000 CTC per month, depending on experience

Desired Experience and Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Graphic Design or Visual Communication
• Solid graphic design background with proven experience in film and photography
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Basic knowledge of After Effects and/or Premiere Pro
• Strong understanding of core graphic design principles, including layout, typography, color theory, composition, and brand consistency
• Experience creating engaging social media content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms
• Practical experience with filming, video editing, Reels, TikToks, and short-form video content
• Strong understanding of current social media trends and emerging content formats
• Comfortable seamlessly combining graphic design, photography, filming, and video to produce compelling social media content

Duties & Responsibilities

• Create dynamic and engaging social media content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and other platforms
• Develop creative, on-trend content ideas that resonate with target social media audiences
• Produce a high volume of graphic design content for social media, including posts, stories, advertisements, and promotional materials
• Design digital and print marketing materials, brochures, advertisements, and website graphics
• Film, edit, and produce high-quality Reels, TikToks, and other short-form video content
• Assist with filming and content creation for products, brand campaigns, and launches
• Capture and edit professional product and lifestyle photographs
• Support product photography and videography initiatives
• Create animations and other dynamic digital content
• Combine graphic design, photography, video, and creative concepts to produce comprehensive social media campaigns
• Stay up to date with social media trends, platform algorithms, formats, and emerging content opportunities
• Leverage AI tools to support creative ideation and content development
• Ensure all content remains visually compelling and consistent with the brand identity
• Collaborate closely with the marketing and design team to develop fresh and impactful campaigns
