Accountant

Serve as the primary contact for a dedicated client portfolio, driving excellence in management accounts, reconciliations, VAT and payroll submissions, compliance coordination, and client service.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of practical accounting experience, with client-facing experience preferred
• Proficiency in Xero, Pastel, or Eureka, with hands-on SARS eFiling experience required

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive monthly management accounts and complete accurate reconciliations
• Maintain precise, up-to-date client accounting records
• Prepare and submit timely VAT and payroll returns via SARS eFiling
• Identify and resolve VAT, payroll, and general accounting discrepancies
• Coordinate annual compliance and statutory requirements
• Manage client queries proactively and build strong, lasting relationships
• Collaborate seamlessly with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery
