Asset Finance Administrator

Our client, a leading financial services firm based in Sandton, is seeking a dedicated Asset Finance Administrator to join their dynamic operations team. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end administration of asset finance transactions, ensure strict compliance with regulatory standards such as FICA and AML, and act as the dedicated FICA Custodian.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
• 3+ years of experience in asset finance, preferably within SME funding
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and conditional formatting
• Previous experience with bookkeeping, accounting, or CRM systems (e.g., Xero, Sage) is a distinct advantage

Responsibilities

• Process SME asset finance applications seamlessly from initial enquiry through to approval and payout
• Review client financial documents, bank statements, invoices, and all supporting paperwork with high attention to detail
• Prepare comprehensive finance proposals and submit applications to funders and credit teams
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records on CRM and accounting systems, including Xero and Sage
• Utilize advanced Excel functions, such as pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and conditional formatting, for accurate reporting and tracking
• Liaise effectively with clients, suppliers, brokers, and lenders to ensure smooth and efficient application processing
• Assist with financial administration tasks, including reconciliations, invoice checks, and payment follow-ups
• Ensure full compliance with internal credit policies and all regulatory documentation requirements
