Accountant

Are you a qualified and detail-oriented accountant with a strong foundation in financial management and a passion for accuracy? We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our dynamic team within the insurance industry. In this role, you will play a key part in driving accurate financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and managing day-to-day accounting functions.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant – SAIPA or SAICA registered
• Completed three years of SAIPA or SAICA articles at an accounting firm as an accounting clerk
• B.Com Accounting degree or a similar relevant qualification
• Independent Reviewer experience or qualification will be a distinct advantage
• Proficiency in Draftworx, Pastel, Payroll systems, Microsoft Office, and SARS e-Filing
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to consistently meet deadlines
• Previous experience within the insurance industry will be advantageous
