  • Review inter-group transactions and loan accounts.
  • Prepare group financial reporting packs for submission to a listed parent company.
  • Prepare annual financial statements for group companies.
  • Compile management information and reports for the finance and risk committee and board of directors.
  • Compile group consolidated cash flow forecasts.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions activity.
  • Assist with stakeholder presentations.

Taxation

  • Formulate, review, and maintain group transfer pricing documentation and local files to ensure compliance with cross-border regulations and OECD guidelines.
  • Review intercompany transactions to ensure adherence to transfer pricing regulations.
  • Prepare and oversee corporate income and provisional tax across local and foreign subsidiaries, ensuring full compliance with SARS and global revenue authorities.
  • Assess, document, and continuously improve group tax processes and controls.
  • Prepare and submit accurate tax returns and review complex tax calculations.
  • Manage SARS audit verifications, queries, and information requests.
  • Liaise effectively with local finance teams and external tax advisors.

What We Are Looking For

  • CA(SA) qualification.
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-article experience.
  • In-depth, up-to-date knowledge of taxation with the ability to navigate complex tax issues.
  • Proven experience preparing Annual Financial Statements under full IFRS.
  • Solid background in group accounting and consolidations.
  • Strong management accounting capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.

Please note that if you have not heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, your application has unfortunately not been successful this time.
